Wushu Team
Chinese martial arts focuses on internal and external movement and exercise forms to pursue harmony between man and nature at the highest realm. China's cultural legacy is presented to the world through physical fitness and athletic competition, self-defense and other functions, including the traditional and competitive martial arts, etc.
In the 1980's, the International Wushu Federation (IWF) was established and became the Asian Olympic Games' official regulation game project in the 1990's. There are currently 83 member groups in the IWF. Chinese martial arts was on the special events big stage at the 2008 Olympic Games in Bejing.
Components of the Wushu Team
Changquan, Nanquan, boradsword spear, Gunshu, Jianshu, pictographic, boxing, and other traditional martial arts equipment (single, dual, soft equipment), etc.
Who is qualified to joing the Wushu Team?
All Green belts are qualified to joing the Wushu team. Yellow Black students can also be considered (please consult with the Sifu first).
